From McIntyre Road, turn left into Kellyville Road. The road climbs steeply then flattens out through to the junction with Koheroa Road. Koheroa Road is reasonably busy, so be careful, but has a footpath for the last 1.5 kilometres into Mercer Township.   Skeet Road, which is the next track south, turns off Koheroa Road about 200 metres before the Mercer Overbridge, but if you're after a drink and a meal, keep going past Skeet Road, over State Highway 1 on the overbridge and down into Mercer. There's good footpaths throughout on this final section into Mercer.
