The opening of the North Shore Coastal Walk attracted a crowd of hundreds on Sunday 21 November. Former marathon world record holder Allison Roe pulled the veil from the ceremonial rock at Devonport then led the first walk-through to Takapuna, where a marquee and a sausage sizzle awaited all finishers.
