The Tindall Foundation have funded the Puhoi Track, and are enthusiastic supporters of Te Araroa - amongst the enormous number of other community projects they back.
 

Pub Charity have made a siginificant contribution to the Paekakariki Escarpment Track project near Wellington.
 

ASB Community Trust have been a long-term supporter of Te Araroa and enabled significant progress to be made in Northland and Auckland.
 

New Zealand Community Trust have also contributed to the Paekakariki Escarpment Track.

The Walking Access Commission has regularly supported Te Araroa via the Enhanced Access Fund.

In 2012, Richard Bowles became the first person to Run Te Araroa. During his journey he donated use of his photographs to the Te Araroa Trust.
