(North to South) |
This road connection joins the southern end of the Longwood Forest Track with the Tihaka Beach Track.
Turn left out of the Long Hilly Walking Track car park and walk down Round Hill Rd to the Orepuki Riverton Highway (SH 99) junction. Turn left here and then, after 4km, right onto Colac Bay Rd. From here it’s a 15 minute walk down to the beach.
Along the way you pass the Colac Bay Tavern where meals, back packer accommodation, and camping facilities are available. |
