A road walk from the exit of Access Road No 3 to the turnoff for the start of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing (1 km up to the carpark) is along sealed State Highways.
Broken only by a small settlement near the junction of Highways 46 and 46 that has some accommodation, food and petrol.
Next track is the Tongariro Alpine Crossing in the Whanganui region. |
