(North to South) |
From the Weir, follow Oram to the west, carefully cross the railway line and meet with SH1. You can walk on the inland side of SH1 safely from Orams Rd to Meremere township. From Meremere township southwards, you can still walk on the inland side but not quite so comfortably. Cross the highway opposite Dragway Road using the safety island in the middle of this four-lane highway. Walk the 1.5 kms to the western end of this road. |
