Anurag joined Te Araroa as a contractor for various projects, the week after he finished walking the trail northbound, in 2024. 

He brings with him more than a decade of data analytics experience, helping build a view of the current state of the trail, hikers and the community, with a quantitative lens. He is passionate about providing an evidence approach and data storytelling, to help improve the trail (and the experience that comes with it) in the short and long term.
