2019/2020 Offical Merchandise now released....

In conjunction with Cabin Supply Co I am pleased to introduce the official merchandise for Te Araroa. This has been a few months in the making to ensure that this design captured the essence of Te Araroa wholeheartedly. We have T-Shirts, Caps, Patches and Stickers available for purchase with proceeds going to Te Araroa Trust so we can continue to make Te Araroa one of the most accessible long distance walking trails in the world. All products are currently stocked in limited numbers for the initial launch so be in quick! You can purchase all products from www.thecabinsupplyco.com

With a nod to the current logo and to honour what was often used as an original trail/boundry marker the Ti Kouka tree (cabbage tree) stands at the forefront of the design against the backdrop of two mountains representing Aotearoas two islands - North (Blue representing the coastal elements and Pacific ocean) and South (orange representing the ever present tussock lands). A pathway stretches over them, flanked by orange triangles that lead towards infinite Ranginui (sky father)

About Cabin Supply Co: Jack is a graphic designer who hails from Scotland and Michelle is a yoga teacher and author from Aotearoa. They completed Te Araroa in the 2016/2017 season and wanted to give back to the trail by providing a design and facilitating an official line of merchandise. You can follow along on their current adventures at @michelle.campbell.nz and @cabinsupplyco

The official guide to New Zealand's greatest walk by Geoff Chapple.

Te Araroa is a 3,000 km walking trail from Cape Reinga to Bluff - the world's newest long trail, and one of the world's longest.

Te Araroa walkers will discover the great diversity of New Zealand's wilderness: the coastline, the forest, the volcanoes, the mountain passes, the lakes and river valleys.
You'll encounter New Zealand's back-country people and places, and its front country, too. The trail crosses rural farmland and 60 rural towns and settlements, but also follows green pathwas through six cities.
You'll encounter New Zealand's history - the old Maori trails, the marae, the early European settlements, the nation's founding treaty grounds at Waitangi, the battlegrounds and the monuments of reconciliation.
Geoff Chapple, author and past Te Araroa Trust CEO, writes knowledgeably and engagingly about the trail's cultural and physical landscapes.
A Walking Guide to New Zealand's Long Trail - Te Araroa is indispensable for those contemplating a through-hike - either in one go or over years - and also for those who simply want to walk any one of the trail's 115 stand-alone tracks.
