Do you have experience working in the outdoors and coordinating the management of trails? Got experience working with and coordinating volunteer efforts? Te Araroa Trust is looking for a Northern Trail Operations Coordinator, preferably based in Waikato, to help care for and develop Te Araroa.
In this role, you will be at the heart of the trail’s operations, managing maintenance, engaging with regional partners, and overseeing a care and repair programme powered by volunteers, community groups and contractors.
From working with contractors to building strong relationships with community groups, the Department of Conservation (DOC), and local authorities, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that Te Araroa is fit for purpose, with a growing community around it.
